Dr. Tucker grew up in Denver, CO.  He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School.  He attended Colorado State University and University of Colorado Medical School.  After graduating in 1986, he completed a Pediatric residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA.  He returned to Denver and had fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology at the Children’s Hospital.  He has been in private practice since 1991.

Dr. Tucker has been active in medical staff affairs.  He was vice chairman of Pediatrics for two years, and recently completed his 2 year role as President of the Medical Staff at Rose Medical Center.  Dr. Tucker is married to Christine, and has two children, Ryan and Nicole.  He enjoys skiing, soccer, scuba diving, and bicycling.
