Dr. Hand is a 4th generation Colorado Native, raised in several states including Kansas, Iowa, and South Dakota.  A true mid-western gal!  She returned to Colorado to attend Colorado College and medical school at Colorado University.  She completed her pediatrics training here in Denver in 1988.  A great day at work involves seeing her patients she has known for years, sprinkled with a generous number of new babies.  Dr. Hand is married to Dr. David Kelsall, an ear surgeon, and they have three children, Emily, Alex, and Tyler.  When Dr. Hand is not busy in the office she can be found in her mother chauffer job or volunteering at school.  She loves to read, children’s and adult literature, garden, ski, walk, and cheer at their children’s sporting events.
