Exciting news for our wonderful patients

Exciting news for our wonderful patients! Starting Monday, May 6th, we're introducing walk-in clinics just for you! From 9 am to 10 am, you are welcome to walk-in for an appointment if you are experiencing any of these common issues:

Fever
Cold Symptoms
Upset stomach (Vomiting and diarrhea)
Sore throat
Red eyes/discharge
Ear pain
Urinary symptoms

No need for appointments during these special hours – just walk right in! We'll take care of you like always, treating each visit with care and attention. Looking forward to seeing you! Please be advised that if you are experiencing a chronic condition or something outside of these common symptoms, you will still need to make an appointment with the front desk. Please feel free to call us if you have questions!

Mask Mandate Update

On March 13th, it will be 3 years since we began implementing office policies and changing our practice and lives to adapt to the COVID pandemic.
I do not think any of us could have envisioned the way COVID would impact our world and our lives.
The good news - it has been three years, and we are all here, healthy and hopefully thriving.
And additional good news - the current COVID risk in the counties of Denver, Arapahoe and Douglas County are ALL" LOW"!!!!
In light of the current low COVID risks, we are making masks for healthy patients and our staff a personal choice.
Signs on our doors will reflect our current policy. Please abide by the signs that will be posted. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in our efforts to keep our patients and staff healthy.

Mobile Check In is LIVE!

Tele-Visits Available

We are excited to begin to offer remote/ telemedicine visits using the SPRUCE health app.

We are recommending ALL patients and families download this app and create an account as soon as possible in anticipation of future need (please do not wait until the need arises).

Click here to download the following SEDP SPRUCE - Care Massanger app to your android or MacOS device and create an account. Please allow time to download and set up this account prior to your first visit (we recommend minimum 1 day in advance). The site can be accessed both on mobile devices and on computers.

While telemedicine visits can be used for many things in pediatrics, we especially may use them to help provide medical care to families in times of infectious disease outbreaks such as COVID-19, measles, and influenza, when office visits may not be appropriate. We also anticipate using telemedicine visits for medication checks, emotional health or health guidance visits, and possibly to address other routine pediatric issues.

ALL visits will be scheduled through our schedulers (but will be reviewed by a physician to deem appropriateness of this type of visit). Or physicians may request that a routine phone call/question be converted to a telemedicine visit. Please be prepared for the possibility of this recommendation.

Telemedicine visits will be billed to insurance as an office visit. Colorado law now requires insurance plans to cover telemedicine visits as they would an "in office" visit, including usual deductibles and copay requirements.
