Terri Learned, MSW, LCSW
Terri's journey to becoming a compassionate and innovative therapist began with her undergraduate degree at Colorado College, followed by a Master's Degree from the University of Denver School of Social Work. Terri dedicated twenty years to serving the Denver metro area, where she honed her skills and built a reputation for her expertise in psychotherapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). She developed a special affinity for working with children and adolescents, finding immense fulfillment in supporting them through their unique challenges and guiding them towards a brighter future. Through many years of experience, Terri has expanded her therapeutic toolkit, recognizing the effectiveness of traditional approaches like psychotherapy and CBT, but also the value of a creative and holistic approach. This led her to integrate the Enneagram, a profound personality typing system, enabling her patients to gain insights into their core motivations, fears, and desires. By embracing their Enneagram types, Terri empowers her patients to confront challenges and embrace strengths, paving the way for lasting positive change. Terri shares her expertise in stress reduction through Mindfulness Practice, emphasizing its role in fostering emotional well-being and resilience. With a focus on calmness, presence, and clarity, she empowers clients and their families to navigate life's challenges with ease. Terri lives in Denver, Colorado with her husband. She has two daughters, both who recently graduated college. She enjoys spending time in Colorado's great outdoors, taking trips to the mountains with her loved ones, and discovering new recipes.
